In New Watercolors, Tim Saternow presents a series of Provincetown scenes that reflect his ongoing attention to architecture, light, and place. Through a restrained watercolor palette and attention to atmosphere, his paintings capture the quiet character of the town’s built environment.
Tim Saternow (b. Oswego, New York) lives and works in New York, New York, and Jersey City, New Jersey. He is a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Brattleboro Museum, the William Benton Museum of Art, and in exhibitions in the Czech Republic, Italy, and China. His paintings have been featured in numerous publications, including The Artist's Magazine, Watercolor Artist, The Art of Watercolour, and the Splash series. Saternow received his MFA from the Yale School of Drama, Yale University.
