Chuck Holtzman is an artist and teacher living and working in Boston. Trained as a sculptor at The School of The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, he eventually put sculpture aside turning his focus exclusively to works on paper. His career in teaching began at The Visual and Environmental Studies Department at Harvard University and continued at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, Lesley University, Cambridge, MA and Mass College of Art, Boston, MA

Chuck has exhibited widely in numerous one person and group exhibitions locally and nationally. He has been awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, a Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant for Drawing,The Ingram Merrill Foundation Award, The New England Foundation for the Arts Grant and The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, 

Chuck’s work has been acquired by numerous public and private collections, including The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Whitney Museum of American Art, NY, The Harvard Art Museums Art Museum, Cambridge and others.
